Clapt ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Clapt mobile application and website. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
Account information: When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and password. Passwords are securely hashed and never stored in plain text.
Submission data: When you create a submission, we collect tracking numbers, carrier information, package details, declared values, and shipping addresses you provide.
Photos: We store photos you take of packages and items. These are uploaded to our secure cloud storage and associated with your submissions.
Buyer contact information: If you choose to notify a buyer, we store their email address and optionally their phone number to send shipping and delivery notifications.
Device information: We may collect basic device information such as device type and operating system for app compatibility purposes.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete a submission, all associated photos, reports, and tracking data are permanently removed. When you delete your account, all data is permanently deleted.
Clapt is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
